ISN’T IT BEAUTIFUL? AREN’T YOU GLAD YOU CAN SEE?
The performance explores the gradual merging of the human body and technology through an intimate dialogue between a light source and the dancer’s body. Their relationship raises questions of closeness, control, and dependency. Who adapts to whom, and to what extent does the body remain autonomous? Technology is not presented merely as a tool, but as a partner whose presence shapes both our actions and our perception of ourselves. The work reflects on our everyday relationship with technologies that expand our possibilities while simultaneously requiring us to adapt to their logic. Rather than treating the human and the machine as opposites, the performance follows their gradual convergence. Through the encounter between light and the living body, it considers how human identity is changing as technology becomes an inseparable part of our lives.
